Clean the bottle thoroughly before the first use using a mixture of lemon juice, vinegar, salt, and water.

Fill the bottle with water and let it sit for 6-8 hours, preferably overnight.

Drink the first thing in the morning to get the most out of it.

Then empty bottle and fill in with new water, so you can drink throughout the day.

If water is stored in the CopperWater bottles for more than 10 hours, empty it and fill with new water.

You can use both tap and spring water in CopperWater bottles. However, if your tap water quality is questionable, opting for spring water may be preferable for a purer drinking experience.

Spring water typically has fewer additives like chlorine and fluoride than tap water, allowing you to fully experience the benefits of using a copper bottle.

Note that even though copper has antimicrobial properties that may aid in purifying water to an extent, CopperWater Bottles are not designed to remove fluoride or chlorine from water.

Our bottles are intended to only be used with water. We do not recommend any other drinks, including adding anything to your water, like lemon juice or electrolytes.

Our bottles naturally kill microbes & keep themselves clean and fresh, so they don’t need to be washed often. When you do wash, hand wash with gentle soap and don’t scrub!

After much use, it’s good to clean the inside of the bottle if you see a lot of tarnish: Simply mix lemon or vinegar, and a tablespoon of salt and gently clean the bottle by swirling the mixture around. Then thoroughly rinse with water, and it will look new.
